July EHAG Emporium~Salem Sisters

 

 Thank you for joining us for the July EHAG Emporium! Each month, on the very last day, the doors of the Emporium creak open for a spooky look at original Halloween art. The Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild takes pride in offering original Halloween art. Once a piece is sold, we work hard to mark it as quickly as possible.

The theme for this month is Salem Sisters. Enjoy and see you next month!

 "Salem"

This original work of art is a handmade, one of a kind. She wears the Salem Witch house as a hat (inspired by my hat home lanterns). 

She is fully sculpted from multiple types of polymer clay, including her clothing and diorama landscape/candle circle that she stands on. Which is attached to a hand painted wood base. She holds a basket with apples, wheat and a hand sculpted corn husk doll.  

She has gray mohair. And her eyes, nails and the windows of the home hat are finished with resin. 

She measures about 14.25 inches tall. 

 

She comes signed by the artist.

La Befana the sweet witch who delivers gold coins, toys and treats to good little Italian children is a favorite subject of mine. Here she's clutching a gold coin and smiling at the viewer through her thick eyeglasses. She is handpainted with artist-grade acrylics and sealed with a flat matte, non-yellowing varnish. Signed by me, the illustrator on back. Add a little OOAK whimsy to your Halloween and/or Christmas tree this year, or keep up all year round so La Befana can smile back at you every day!

“Salem Sisters Witch”

Hand-sculpted from polymer clay, her face exudes mystique, topped with a fabric witch hat. Within the shadow box she holds lies a vintage picture of three sister witches.
