What what great prizes! Of course I'd love to have that fabulous watercolor from Iva that graced the pages of Celebrate365!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite decorations are my paper mache cats, pumpkins and little devils. I love anything Halloween really but I love my cat and pumpkin dudes :)
ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful old witch figurine that is my favorite..she's displayed all year.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Here in England we don't do as much about decorating in our homes, as our American cousins, but more items are appearing in the shops as years go by. I love the traditional pumpkin, jack'o'lantern, with its goulish carved face and flickering light.
ReplyDeleteWonderful prizes! I enjoy all things Halloween. I have a small village I love to put up each year, complete with graveyard, trick-or-treaters and haunted houses with spooky sound effects!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful giveaways!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decorations are my kids dressed up in their little costumes :D
all of these are great prizes for the best holiday of the year...I love anything Halloween. (I particularly love the little "Skullyton" from Chandra Cerchione-Peltier!)
ReplyDeleteLove the Haunted Mansion! Very beautiful! Great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to narrow it down to one favorite...I do get carried away! Up near the top of my favorites is a paper cutting picture of trick or treaters by Pamela Dalton. But then there are my tiny Wee Forest Folk dressed up in halloween....
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween!
My favorite decoration (at least this year), and it's also a piece of art...are all my faux pumpkins that have scenes painted on them...a witch with a cat, haunted house, fancy letter F, farm animals, tree, and my favorite, a spooky crow!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite decoration is a ghost my twins and I made based on their favorite Halloween Book, TEN TIMID GHOST! They are nine now but from the time they were 3to 7 years old, we read this book non-stop. When Halloween came around when they were 5 they insisted that we make a "TIMID GHOST", so that we did! It isn't the nicest, cutest, or most spectacular decoration, but it always makes me smile when I pull it from the box every year. I can hear the chatter of my twins reciting this book from memory!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decorations are all of my pumpkins. I have needle felted ones, paper mache ones and velvet ones. I would love to add Deb's "Mon Dieu" baby gourd to my collection! What wonderful giveaways!
ReplyDeleteThe Skullyton is so awesome! I like scary black cat decorations. I have a 24" tall Biestle repro cat that stays up year round in my computer room.
ReplyDeleteWOW! The prizes are all outstanding!!! Please consider me for this giveaway. I have a lot of favorite pieces but I have recently acquired a pumpkin ghost that my eye goes to whenever I go into our living room.
ReplyDeleteHe will have a year round spot in my studio when the season is over.
My favorite decoration is a wonderful piece by EHAG artists Cartbeforethehorse--it's called Lenore's Ride and brings a smile to my face everyday. (She cruises the livingroom all year round even though she is pumpkiny goodness.) Thanks for asking :)
ReplyDeleteEverything pictured is amazing! My favorite from this page is the Haunted Mansion watercolor. My favorite Halloween decoration currently on display in my living room is a small pirate ghost, complete with eyepatch and tiny pumpkin, handmade by an artist from Etsy. (I don't have a blog; my email address is bibliophilenc@yahoo.com.)Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI love Joanna Parker's cats and pumpkins and Possible Impossible's devil. Any Halloweenie made from paper or clay with very cute, plump cheeks and skinny garland. I'm also obsessed with The Headless Horseman. My email is atelierpoopisan@gmail.com and I have a sweet little Etsy shop. Poopisan.etsy.com
ReplyDeleteAll holidays decorations make me smile. I would say my favorite decoration is my oldest: a witch figurine I made in the second grade! The teacher, Mrs. U, loved the holiday and art. She had us make witch figurines out of clay (the head) and an empty soda glass bottle (the body). We sculpted the head around our thumb. A clump of clay was molded around our thumb and we had to sit still while it dried --no easy task for a second grader! Once dry, we painted the face, added a flannel cape, and stuck it in the bottle. Finally, we painted the bottle to look like a dress. It was my favorite project we did that year. My parents displayed it every Halloween. I suppose it was their favorite, too. Now, I display it every year. I guess this was my first attempt at Halloween folk art. Mrs. U had a way of making every student feel like an exceptional artist! :) I do not have a blog but my email address is capody@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love all the items but especially the mask. I would love to wear it when the trick or treaters come to the house for candy! How cute would that be?
ReplyDeleteThe best time of year! My favorite of all time decorations have to be the ones I have now that belonged to my mother as a child. An paper mache trick or treat pumpkin that is in beautiful condition and a little glass owl battery operated lantern that still works perfectly!

What an amazing blog! I never saw so many cool pieces in a cellection. Congratulations and I am now a follower.
ReplyDeleteI decorate with 98% handmade ornaments and decorations...the love that is put into each and every piece is so evident no matter the holiday! I participate in ornament swaps for many holidays so each year new lovlies come into my life...with open arms! Your collection of stunning beauties..is wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is my favorite time of the year. My 10 yr old daughter is the same. I just realized the other day that maybe she likes halloween and scary movies for one because she is a chip of the ol block, me, she even loves to paint and sew, but for my baby shower when she was just a little pumpkin inside my belly, my baby shower was on Halloween cause I love it so. Maybe that's why! You can find Halloween anytime in my sewing room and her bedroom, gotta keep it out of my hubby's sight he hates Halloween, my closet addiction! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have way to many favorite decorations for Halloween....however would I pick just one....when I love them all. I must say that black cats and owls tend to be my all time favorites.
ReplyDeleteI love my Spooky Halloween Tree. It's about 2 feet tall and is made from twisted wire. It's flocked with black embossing powder and purple glitter. I enjoy making new ornaments for it every year. This year it's paper mache pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite decoration is my plastic light up pumpkin that I put on my front porch. It reminds me of the old days with light up Santa's on the front of porches.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thrill to have chance at these great prizes! Crossin' my fingers and toes!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite decoration this year are a set of three Jack o' Lantern pumpkins I made out of a muslin based with a their wool faces whip-stitched on top. There are from a pattern I just bought this year. (Don't know if I'm allowed to mention the name here, so I guess I'll post that on my blog.) Anyway, I made two sets, one traditional orange, the other ghostly white. I like the white, just because they are different.
Seriously??? I can't pick a favorite---I think I like EVERYTHING! I could get lost for a week in here!
ReplyDeletePeace All,
the DragonLady
my favorite decoration is our big spider! i plan on getting more and bigger ones after halloween on clearance. Then next year they will be climing up our house!!! saw this on someone else's house and thought our little 12" spider is a baby to theirs!! also love all the kids in costume.
ReplyDeleteHalloween allows me the opportunity to wear another hat, my great big purple witches hat. And of course, I have a wonderful black cape as well. I love wearing hats, glad they are back in style. Can't remember how long I have had my witches hat but her fringe is getting a little raggedly. Might need some work.

ReplyDeleteCan you believe I actually have some Halloween decorations out all year in my home?
I have a cool cat and a witch displayed over a vintage piece of furniture in my entrance. I like them so much I don't see why they shouldn't be there any month of the year! :-)

My favorite bit of Halloween decor is a witch figurine that I picked up in the beautiful town of Salem, Massachusetts. We plan an week in October every year to visit the "witch city" and if you haven't seen Salem in October, you haven't lived! It's enchanting! The entire month is taken up with "Haunted Happenings" and it's creepy/funny/spooky/whimsical. My little witch is a wonderful reminder of the good times we've had there.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decoration is my Halloween tree. I have to keep it in the guest bathroom because my chihuahua is terrified of it. But the lighting is great for it there.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decoration is my Halloween tree! :) This year I have one for the first time and I am thrilled with it.

I love HaLLoWeEn and my house reflects that this time of the year. If I had to chose a favorite thing, today it might be the witch hat lamp I made myself. It is adorable if I do say so myself! I should post pictures of it~it wasn't hard to make.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win any of the wonderful items you have up for the drawing!
Enjoy HaLLoWeEn but don't lose your head!
My favorite is a OOAK Grandmother of Time spirit doll that insisted on following me home one day. She's the essence of witchy wisdom and although she's on guard year round, I think she especially enjoys the little Halloween witchies and kitties that join her in October.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome prizes you have for your give away!Halloween is my all time favorite holiday! I don't have a favorite decoration I love them all from store bought to handcrafted. I guess if you insist on one favorite it would have to be the creepy paper mache' guy I got as a gift.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decor is an iron "witches" pot. I keep it out all year long, but use it in my decorating during the fall. It scares the little ones because they think it's a real witches pot.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween decoration is a black tree about 24" tall that is decorated with small glass ornaments from Old World Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHow fun and such wonderful prizes! I would have to say my Halloween tree that I got this year so I can display the awesome ornies that wonderful artists have made!!
ReplyDeleteJamie
My favorite Halloween decorations are the ones my hubby and I make together to put outside. So far we have a hand built wooden graveyard fence, and tombstones, and a gate. This year we added a skeleton sitting on a tombstone!
