The EHAG Emporium Summer Ghoulaway

Summertime, and the livin ' is phantasmic... so the artists of the Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild are hosting a Ghoulaway to keep you happily haunted until this month's EHAG Emporium's gates creak open on July 31st.  Enter and you could win one of these spooktacular creations.

To enter, leave a comment telling us your favorite summer Halloween activity. Then leave your name and a way of contacting you - email or your blog through which you are reachable.

On July 30th, at 9 PM EST, the skeletal hand will pluck four names from the cauldron and announce the winners right here.  You could be the recipient of one of the pieces below.  Sadly, if you cannot be reached, the hand will pluck another name from the cauldron.

These are just a tantalizing taste of the bewitching pieces from the Artists of EHAG.  New works will be revealed on July 31st, right here at the July EHAG Emporium.

To leave a comment, go to the bottom of this post, below all the photos.  You will see something that says xx Comments  (however many comments are already there).  Click that.  A comment box will appear below the other comments.  Write your comment, choose your identity, and submit.

Beware.  A BlogGoblin haunts this blog.  If you've tried and tried, but the BlogGoblin doesn't allow you to leave your comment, email it to EHAGEmporium@gmail.com by July 29th, and your kindly BlogMistress will enter your name for you.

(As for spammers who leave comments, the kindly BlogMistress will cheerfully put a curse on you.)

I still have live pumpkins on my porch and they are doing well even in the 100ยบ plus weather here. I just have to give them a dusting every so often.

    Thanks,

  11. Well, I'm doing something Halloweeny year-round, but in the summer, I love to sketch out what oddities I'll display in my yard with a theme (this year is creepy sideshow!!). I also start bringing out one or two Halloween goodies.

  12. Summer is just the pre-Halloween season! It's time to spot new Halloween arrivals in stores in late summer. It's time to think about how you can decorate your front porch for the season's trick or treaters! The trick or treaters are fantasizing about WHAT they will be this year! Lots to look forward to!''

My favorite activity for the Halloween season is decorating in fall colors, with leaves, pumpkins, sweetly spooky trinkets, candy~ I love it all. I have lots of cats that decorate the house all year, too. I also love the cooking that goes with this time of the year.

  23. My favorite summertime Halloween activity is collecting things (and making more) for new autumn Halloween fun! I collect spooky items, things to alter, and when I can I join in haunted blog parties to practice for the real events!
All year long I also enjoy visiting artists and blogs and websites of those who make Halloween type art.

  24. I have a couple Halloween things out year round, but I am always looking for new things to celebrate the season. Plus, I scout the summer yard sales for those eclectic items for some yet to be determined costume. Plus, as summer winds down I look for those delish recipes for fall.
