“Luna the Witch”

Meet Luna, my handmade and one-of-a-kind Dia De Los Muertos lantern. 

She is made of my own mixture of neoprene and paper mâché. She is hand painted with acrylic paints and sealed. Her eyes and mouth have hand dyed spider web lace inserts. And she has decorative faux flowers and Spanish moss at the base of the mausoleum. She has a permanently installed flameless candle (batteries included). And has "spooky" fabric trim around her base. 

She measures about 9.75 inches tall.

He sat and she stood by his side. His right hand (one earring) is on the arm of his chair. Her left hand (the other earring) is relaxed at her side. Each of their other hands rest together on the arm of the chair where he sits (the pendant).  Their hands don’t quite touch. But they are close enough to feel the familiar warmth of their lifelong mate. Touching…without really touching…comfortable and familiar…they now remain together forever.1” pendant on a 24” chain with .75” earrings with a 2”length

Here at the Eclectic Halloween Artists Guild, we go bats for Halloween.  We not only have bats in our belfry; this month we have them on our easels and worktables, emerging out of vats of bat bits.  They are joined this month by gypsies, jack o' lanterns, mice, a mysterious gent, and even twinkling Halloween stars and a full Halloween moon.  Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
