Mourning Glory Jewelry

 The Ghostly Gentleman

Where once there was a distinguished man...there now is but a ghost. This antique printer’s block changes with the light, sometimes appearing as a negative, and sometimes appearing as a positive. The patina of the copper is accented by the black and gold flash of the thin chain. This same chain has also been used to create graduated swags draped along the bottom of the block.

It is a piece that will draw curious eyes.

1.5” X 3” pendant on a 31” chain

This three piece set was created from a single photograph. Now cold in their graves…the elderly couple had seen trouble, sorrow, and hardships along with good times, happiness, and contentment. He sat and she stood by his side. His right hand (one earring) is on the arm of his chair. Her left hand (the other earring) is relaxed at her side. Each of their other hands rest together on the arm of the chair where he sits (the pendant).  Their hands don’t quite touch. But they are close enough to feel the familiar warmth of their lifelong mate. Touching…without really touching…comfortable and familiar…they now remain together forever.1” pendant on a 24” chain with .75” earrings with a 2”length
